Melissa Fulson joined Christianson & Company in 2016. She spent the previous 19 years working in the architectural design field with emphasis on development and tenant improvements. Her experience includes tenant representation, fit planning, setting up budgets, programming, design, project management and construction administration. Melissa is especially versed in retail and restaurant design and site selection working with both property owners and tenants.
As a full service designer and a real estate professional, Melissa guides her clients through the entire tenant representation process offering a full range of services from discovery, to securing just the right space, space planning and design and project and/or construction management through opening for business. Melissa's clients appreciate her ability to make the process seamless and easy to navigate.
For Landlords, Melissa is able to look at a property in a holistic way, finding opportunities to maximize income. Finish recommendations, adding amenities, or complete redesign are all value-add services that go beyond simply posting a sign to fill vacancies.
Melissa holds a Bachelors from the University of Minnesota in Interior Design and is nearing completion of her Masters of Science from the University of Minnesota in Interior Design with an emphasis on Psychology. She has been an educator and believes in great communication and service. She holds a certification since 2001 from the NCIDQ which is the National Council for Interior Design Qualification and she is a licensed Minnesota real estate professional.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys cooking, biking and yoga, and spending time outdoors in nature. She keeps busy with her young son and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
